Once lesson commences, class is considered fulfilled. In the event of bad weather halfway through the class, dryland will be conducted. Dryland training consists of fitness & conditioning work and/or theory modules to help swimmers understand the mechanics of swimming better. The level of difficulty for these dryland curriculums would be tailored according to the swimmers’ age group.

Dryland training reduce resistance for performing the movements and can help in the learning of each stroke since water is denser than air. With the combination of dryland training and water practice, learners will have a higher chance of mastering the swimming skills faster and better. Dryland training mainly consists of activities that build strength, endurance, improve stroke precision, improve stamina in swimming. 

Yes, they can definitely learn how to swim. In fact, the breathing of warm, moist air (instead of cold, dry air) may actually help reduce the risk of asthmatic attacks.
